February 2009 - all adoptions on hold
January 2009 - receive Carrie & the children's birth certificates & apostilles
December 2008 - filed a I-600a with the USCIS
December 2008 - receive Andrew's birth certificate from England
December 2008 - order Carrie & children's birth certificate apostilles
December 2008 - final homestudy appointment/home visit
December 2008 - dog vaccination for homestudy
December 2008 - second homestudy appointment
November 2008 - received three reference letters from friends & family
November 2008 - order birth certificate & apostille for Andrew
November 2008 - first homestudy appointment with Options 4 Adoption
November 2008 - septic tank inspection for homestudy
November 2008 - Andrew, Carrie & children complete physicals
November 2008 - fingerprinting complete
November 2008 - criminal background checks complete
October 2008 - opened Fed Ex account to ship dossier and homestudy paperwork
October 2008 - Candace notified us that Liberia was again placing children for adoption
June 2008 - moved into a new home on a commercial poultry farm
April 2008 - our nineth child was born, Abigail Grace
March 2008 - told that Liberia was placing a hold on adoptions
February 2008 - sent application into Adopt International
February 2008 - spoke with Candace at Adopt International
January 2008 - decided on Liberia
December 2007 - ready to begin the adoption process
July 2004 - began to pray about adopting
